IBG RESEARCHER RECEIVES INCENTIVE AWARD FROM TUBITAK
Doç. Dr. Serap Erkek Özhan, group leader of IBG’s Disease Epigenetics Lab, is one of the researchers to receive the TUBITAK Incentive Award this year.
Doç. Dr. Serap Erkek Özhan was entitled to receive the “Incentive Award” in health sciences for her outstanding work in the fields of transcriptional and epigenetic regulation. Along with her group members, Dr. Erkek Özhan produces and analyses data sets using various omics methods and supports them with functional experiments to identify epigenetic signatures that play a role in the development of diseases, especially in cancer.
