The ICGEB Advanced Training Course at İBG Successfully Concludes

The İzmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (İBG) successfully concluded the ICGEB Advanced Training Course titled “Recent Advances in Genome Editing and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) in Laboratory Animals”, held from 15–19 September 2025.

This highly anticipated training brought together participants from around the world, including Europe, Asia, and Africa. Young researchers and healthcare professionals specializing in molecular biology, genetics, reproductive biology, and related fields gathered at İBG to share knowledge and practical experience.

The program covered topics such as CRISPR/Cas genome editing systems, transgenic model production, embryology, and assisted reproductive technologies in laboratory animals.

In addition to theoretical lectures, participants engaged in hands-on sessions led by a team of expert scientists. The course concluded with experiences directly contributing to the participants’ own research projects.
